Kendriya Vidyalaya Kasauli was established on July 23, 1986 in Air Force Station Kasauli by Kendriya Vidyalaya New Delhi, an autonomous body of Ministry of Human Resources and Development. To meet the needs of the children of Air Force station in India, New Delhi, Gp K.K., by the Principal of Grade II Principal P.R. Red Dabral. Under the chairmanship of. S. Venkataraman, AFS's Station Commander Since then, the Vidyalaya has never looked back and increased from strength to strength and now it is completely single section senior secondary school in which science, commerce and humanities are at Stream + 2 level. Principal of Grade I, Vidyalaya, is going under the leadership of Sh. Hari Om Upadhyay, a team of dedicated teachers and all our qualified visionary heads, GP Captain S. Raja Prabhu, Station Commander, Air Force Station, Kasauli. The team is asked to achieve new heights in the field of academic and co-curricular activities in the current session.
